Give In-Kind

Not everyone gives in cash — and that’s okay. Equipment, books, and supplies help us just as much. See what we need and how to give below.

Some of the most valuable gifts to AVET aren’t cash — they’re the tools, materials, and equipment that keep our programmes running. If you or your organisation has items to donate, we’d love to hear from you. Below is our current wishlist, along with how in-kind giving works.

How In-Kind Giving Works

  • Tell us what you’d like to give — use the form below to describe the item, its condition, and quantity.
  • We review the request — our team confirms whether the item matches a current need before accepting.
  • We arrange logistics — for local donors (within Zambia), we’ll coordinate pickup or drop-off. For international donors, please note that shipping costs are the donor’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
  • You receive an acknowledgment — once received, we’ll confirm and, where appropriate, issue a donation acknowledgment letter.

What We’re Unable to Accept

To make sure every donation reaches someone who can use it, we’re generally unable to accept:

  • Damaged, broken, or non-functional electronics
  • Expired or outdated learning materials no longer in curriculum use
  • Items requiring significant repair before use

Not sure if an item qualifies? Just ask — we’re happy to advise before you arrange delivery.
